  • 1 (8 oz) package chive and onion cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup Ranch dressing
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 3 cups cooked chicken, roughly chopped
  • 6 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 3 medium green onions, finely chopped
  • 3 cups shredded Colby-Jack cheese, divided
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter

Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat Oven and Prepare Baking Sheet:

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with foil for easy cleanup.

2️⃣ Make the Filling:

  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, Ranch dressing, garlic salt, and onion powder until smooth.
  • Stir in the chopped chicken, crumbled turkey bacon, chopped green onions, and 1 cup of the shredded Colby-Jack cheese. Mix until everything is well combined.

3️⃣ Prepare the Bread:

  • Slice the Italian bread in half lengthwise and remove some of the bread from the center of each half to create a hollow space for the filling.

4️⃣ Layer the Filling:

  • Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheese on the bottom half of the bread.
  • Spread the chicken mixture evenly over the cheese layer, then sprinkle with the remaining 1 cup of shredded cheese.

5️⃣ Assemble and Butter the Bread:

  • Place the top half of the bread over the filling and press down gently to secure.
  • Brush the entire loaf with melted butter for a golden, crispy crust.

6️⃣ Wrap and Bake:

  • Wrap the stuffed loaf in foil and place it on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 30-40 minutes, until the bread is heated through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
