Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Ground Beef or Italian Sausage
  • 1 Yellow Onion, Diced
  • 34 Garlic Cloves, minced
  • 1 tbs Onion Powder
  • 1 tbs Garlic Powder
  • 1 tbs Italian Seasoning
  • 24 oz Jar of Spaghetti Sauce or Marinara
  • 1 lb Rigatoni Pasta
  • 4 Cups Chicken Broth
  • 5 oz Package of Garlic and Herb Boursin Cheese
  • Fresh Grated Parmesan for serving
  • Dried or Fresh Parsley, for garnish
  • Salt and Pepper to taste if needed

Instructions

  • In a dutch oven, over medium heat, brown the ground beef with the onion and garlic. If desired, drain the grease when the meat is fully cooked.
  • Stir in the seasonings.
  • Add the sauce, the pasta and the chicken broth. Stir well and bring to a gentle boil
  • Place the lid on and reduce to a simmer. Cook for approximately 20 minutes or until pasta is al dente.
  • Stir in the Boursin cheese until it is completely melted
  • Salt and pepper to taste IF NEEDED
  • Garnish with parsley and top with parmesan for serving.

Notes

For best results, use a high-quality marinara sauce and freshly grated Parmesan cheese. If you prefer a lighter version, ground turkey or plant-based meat can be substituted for the beef or sausage without sacrificing flavor. This dish can be made ahead and reheated, though it’s best enjoyed fresh. If you plan to freeze leftovers, do so without the Boursin cheese, adding it only after reheating to maintain the dish’s creamy consistency. Don’t forget to taste the sauce before serving and adjust the seasoning to your preference, especially after incorporating the Boursin cheese, as it adds a significant amount of flavor and salt.
